DEFTONES: U.S. Headlining Dates Announced
March 20, 2007DEFTONES will begin a new U.S. tour on May 11 in Phoenix, with the two-month trek expected to last through July 9. Support on the shows will come from THE FALL OF TROY and DIR EN GREY. Confirmed dates so far include the following:

DEFTONES were forced to postpone three shows on their current U.K. tour after frontman Chino Moreno fell ill. Sunday night's Bristol Academy gig, a show at Portsmouth Guildhall as well as tonight's (March 20) gig at Brixton Academy in London have been rescheduled for April.
The California-based group has just released "Mein" as the second single from its fifth album, "Saturday Night Wrist", which arrived this past October.
The DEFTONES were also featured on the "Family Values Tour 2006" CD and DVD, which both came out in December.
Bassist Chi Cheng has contributed two poems to a new collection called "Revolution on Canvas, Volume 2: Poetry from the Indie Music Scene". The book is due out on May 9.
Moreno and DEFTONES turntablist/keyboardist Frank Delgado will be IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson's guests on Saturday, March 24 during Bruce's weekly BBC 6 Music radio show, aptly named "Rock Show".
